Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the AI-based self-reflection service ("the Service") that Protomansion, Inc. ("the Company") provides through the Moonlight Story application ("the App"), along with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of users and the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• Service: the features the App provides, including diary writing, AI dream interpretation, emotional insight and mood analysis.
• User: anyone, registered or not, who accesses the App and uses the Service under these Terms.
• Paid service: the premium subscription the Company offers.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment of these Terms)

The Company posts these Terms inside the Service so that users can read them easily. The Company may amend them within the bounds of applicable law, and will give notice inside the App at least seven days before an amendment takes effect.

Article 4 (Protection of personal information)

Diary and dream text and downloaded analyses are kept on your device. Inputs needed for AI requests are sent to our server and AI providers. Server copies of diary and dream analyses are deleted after the device acknowledges receipt. Some information, including accounts and personal saju readings, is retained on the server. Processing, retention and exceptions follow the Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (Provision and change of the Service)

The Company provides AI analysis results and energy insights. These are for reference only and cannot replace advice from a legal, medical or psychological professional. The Service may change for technical or policy reasons.

Article 6 (Paid service and subscription)

New subscriptions in version 1.3.1 are listed below. Prices and availability vary by country and store; check the amount and period before purchase. Existing subscriptions retain their prices and promised allowances.

• Lite: auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription at the price shown in your store. Includes 30 short AI readings and 3 deep saju/compatibility readings per monthly usage period.
• Plus: auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription at the price shown in your store. Includes 90 short AI readings and 10 deep saju/compatibility readings per monthly usage period.

The following applies to paid services.

• New accounts keep the 30-day free trial. Under the new policy, the entire trial includes 3 short AI readings and 1 deep reading. Signing up does not charge you or automatically start a paid subscription. Previously promised trial benefits are preserved.
• If you subscribe during the free trial, the remaining trial days are not lost — they are banked. Banked days convert automatically into premium access when the paid subscription ends, whether by cancellation or expiry.
• Bonus days earned by inviting friends are banked as well, including while a paid subscription is running, and all banked days convert into premium access when the subscription ends. Banked days apply once and are used up when applied.
• Subscriptions are charged through the store you installed the App from (Apple App Store or Google Play), and renew automatically on the same terms unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can cancel at any time: on iOS in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, and on Android in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep premium features until the paid period ends.
• On renewal, the amount is charged to your Apple ID or Google account within 24 hours of the renewal date.

Free and new trial members receive 10 diary and 10 dream AI analyses separately, once per account. They never expire or reset with a new month, reinstall, login or trial extension. Existing free accounts qualify without retroactive deductions. Paid plans and preserved legacy trials use their own allowances first; unused free readings remain saved. Failed analyses return the reading credit; reopening saved results uses none. Writing remains available after exhaustion; subscribe for further AI analyses. Personal cost, shared budget and request limits may restrict generation even with readings remaining.

Today is free and includes allowed calendar context in its first generation each day. Reopening shows the saved reading without another charge. Calendar setting changes apply the next day. Your own new saju readings are free up to 3 per month, including the first and profile changes; annual, other-person and compatibility readings use the deep allowance. The separate free diary/dream gifts follow the terms above; other diary, dream and future-guide readings share the short allowance. 12 sounds and reopening saved results use no readings. Annual plans refresh allowances monthly; check remaining usage in MY. Cost or request limits may temporarily restrict new generation.

Article 7 (Refunds)

Payment and refunds for paid subscriptions follow the policy of the store you installed the App from (Apple App Store or Google Play).

• To request a refund after a subscription payment, use Apple Support on iOS (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play support on Android.
• No payment is taken during the free trial, so no refund procedure is needed.

Article 8 (User obligations)

Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms and any other conditions set by the Company. Users must not impersonate others or damage the Company's systems.

Article 9 (Ending the Service and deleting your account)

Delete your account in MY → Settings & Account → Delete account. The app also clears records on this device and offers a retry if cleanup fails. Manage exported files yourself. Server processing and legally required retention exceptions follow the Privacy Policy. Deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately in your store.

Article 10 (Intellectual property)

All intellectual property in the Service — design, logo, software, AI models and algorithms — belongs to the Company. Copyright in the content you write, such as diary entries and dream records, belongs to you, and AI analysis results are provided for your personal use only.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

The Company does not warrant the accuracy or reliability of AI analysis and insight information, and is not liable for any outcome arising from it. The Company is also not liable for interruptions caused by natural disasters or other events beyond its control.

Article 12 (Dispute resolution)

Disputes relating to these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court with jurisdiction over the Company's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
